GFSE - 3: Public-Private Partnerships for Rural Energy Development
27 - 29 November 2002, Graz, Austria
The 3rd GFSE Meeting was dedicated to the potential role of public-private partnerships in rural energy development. Held shortly after the World Summit for Sustainable Development in Johannesburg, the Meeting was in a good position to assess the results of the energy related WSSD discourse and identify the ways for forwarding the agenda of energy for sustainable development in the post-WSSD context. The City of Graz, several Austrian Ministries, and a number of international partners and donors sponsored the meeting. It addressed a broad audience of experts, decision-makers, civil servants and development workers.
