GFSE-8: Tenth Year Anniversary of GFSE, 22-24 June 2009 I Vienna

The Global Forum on Sustainable Energy (GFSE) celebrated its tenth year anniversary in the context of the energy conference “Towards an Integrated Energy Agenda Beyond 2020: Securing Sustainable Policies and Investments” from 22 to 24 June 2009, Vienna, Austria.

The conference brought together a variety of international high-ranking energy experts to tackle current energy and climate-related issues in the context of the current global financial and economic crisis, making Vienna the next stop on the integrated energy agenda. The conference was co-organized by the Austrian Development Cooperation, UNIDO, IIASA, the Austrian Energy Agency and GFSE.
