Vienna Energy Forum 2017

The exciting Vienna Energy Forum 2017 on “Sustainable Energy for the Implementation of the SDGs and the Paris Agreement” will be taking place from 9 - 12 May 2017 in Vienna, Austria. The VEF 2017 will highlight the multiplier effects of integrated approaches for sustainable development at the national, regional and global levels. The Forum will also accentuate the potentials of the sustainable energy nexus - linking energy to water, food and health - as well as innovation as a global driver for accelerated sustainable growth. Side Event: Trends & Challenges in Smart City Development: Experiences from Vienna

The Global Forum on Sustainable Energy (GFSE) in cooperation with Energy Center Wien, the City of Vienna, the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management (BMLFUW) and the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), is organizing the VEF Side Event on “Trends & Challenges in Smart City Development: Experiences from Vienna”. This side event will take place in the morning of 10th May 2017, from 9:30 – 11:00 in the Vienna International Centre. [more]

The Global Forum on Sustainable Energy (GFSE) in cooperation with Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO), the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management (BMLFUW) and the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), is organizing the VEF Side Event titled “Showcasing Innovative Austrian Clean Energy Technologies”. This event will take place on 10th May 2017, from 14:00 – 15:30 in the Vienna International Centre. [more]
