Power Station Renovation Improves Energy Production and Air Quality in Mauritius

The African Development Bank partnered with the Government of Mauritius to renovate a power station in Saint Louis. This power station, located in the southern periphery of Camp Chapelon (a town with 1.500 inhabitants), is Mauritius’s main electricity production plant. [more]

Renewable Energy Developments in Guinea Bissau

The Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition (GWNET) is an international non-profit organisation, which aims at advancing the global energy transition by connecting and empowering women working in sustainable energy in both developed and emerging/developing countries.[more]

Renewable Energy Capacity Building Project in Four Pacific Countries Launched

A project titled “Capacity Building to Strengthen Sustainable Implementation of Renewable Energy Technologies for Rural Energy Access” was recently launched in four Pacific Countries, namely Fiji, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea.[more]
