GFSE is organized on a broad basis in Austria. 

The GFSE activities are carried out  with different international partners such as UNIDO and IIASA and national partners like the Austrian Development Cooperation in the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, and the Austrian Development Agency (ADA)
