GWNET – “Women in Energy Expert Platform” Launched

The Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition (GWNET) is an international non-profit organisation, which aims at advancing the global energy transition by connecting and empowering women working in sustainable energy in both developed and emerging/developing countries. GWNET empowers women in energy through interdisciplinary networking, advocacy, training, coaching and mentoring, and services related to projects and financing.

As part of the network’s activities, GWNET recently launched the Women in Energy Expert Platform during the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue on 10th April 2019. The GWNET Women in Energy Expert Platform “connects and empowers women working in sustainable energy in developing, emerging and industrialised countries with the aim to encourage greater visibility, networking opportunities and professional connections between women” (source: GWNET). This new platform is open to all women working in the sustainable energy sector and is very easy to join!

All you have to do is to create your profile – free of charge – on the GWNET Women in Energy Expert Platform. Your participation will help contribute toward the organisation’s efforts to promote the visibility of women in sustainable energy.
