Ms. Giner-Reichl, president of GFSE received the 2021 ISES Global Leadership Award in Advancing Solar Energy Policy

Ms. Giner-Reichl, president of GFSE has been selected by the International Solar Energy Society to receive the 2021 ISES Global Leadership Award in Advancing Solar Energy Policy – In honour of Hermann Scheer. This award, which was first conferred at the ISES 2011 Solar World Congress in Kassel, Germany, is presented every two years to renewable energy leaders for their significant contributions to the advancement of solar energy. The award is presented in honour and memory of the late Dr. Hermann Scheer. Ms. Giner-Reichl has been awarded by her achievements in the field of advancing renewable energy, as an ambassador and in her role as founder or the Global Forum on Sustainable Energy (GFSE), her work on the REN21 Steering Committee and in Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition. More information including previous recipients of the Award can be found on the ISES website here.
